California Governor Gavin Newsom has launched a state-backed website tracking President Donald Trump's controversial pardons, including clemency decisions involving cryptocurrency figures. The move coincides with new data showing violent crime rates dropping across major California cities.

Homicides fell 18% year-over-year, with robberies down 17% and aggravated assaults declining 9%, according to the Major Cities Chiefs Association. Oakland and San Francisco recorded the most significant improvements.

Newsom's platform specifically highlights crypto-related pardons, framing them as part of a broader pattern of questionable clemency decisions. The governor aims to provide voters with centralized information about individuals receiving presidential protection during Trump's administration.
